Celebrating 85 Years of Gospel Recordings

GRN has been faithfully recording Gospel messages for over 85 years. We developed the 5fish app 10 years ago — an app that enables you to proclaim God’s word in over 6,500 different languages and speech varieties (the new politically correct term for dialects). Our 5fish app contains GRN recordings, the Jesus Film, and audio Bibles. It is free and easy to use. We have developed it so you can share the story of Jesus in every language.

Why Every Christian Should Know About the 5fish App

I think every Christian who has access to the internet should know about 5fish and be ready to direct people who cross their path to Gospel messages in a language they understand. It is a great tool for when you strike a language barrier, when you don’t know what to say next, and when you want to leave God’s Word with someone to think about.

A Testimony from Australia: Learning English Through 5fish

Liverpool South Anglican Church in New South Wales graciously allowed us to bring them our 5fish presentation. We taught the congregation to use the app. An Indian gentleman in the church told us that when he arrived in Australia he spoke very little English. He would meet with another Indian fellow in the congregation regularly, but English was their only common language. They listened to GRN materials in their respective languages on 5fish and then talked about them in English. It was a very creative way for this man to have fellowship and grow in faith while he learned English.

Discipling Refugees Through “The Living Christ” in Arabic

A GRN leader in Europe is working with refugees. He has asked for “The Living Christ” program to be recorded in standard Arabic. It is a program that recounts the life of Jesus. He wants to use the program to disciple refugees. Our office has three Arabic speakers who have translated the program and we are in the process of recording it.

Sharing the Gospel with English-Speaking Non-Readers

There are many people in Australia who cannot read and many who do not read. Our materials are available also in English. If you are talking to an English-speaking non-reader, one of our programs might be just the thing to leave them with as they consider their future.

Making 5fish Available in 100+ Languages

5fish can be accessed by way of about 20 major world languages. We would love 5fish to be accessible via at least 100 languages so the app can be used more widely. We are looking for translators. Can you help or do you know someone who can?
