GRN has existed for over eighty years, yet many churches have never heard of us. You may wish to tell your church or another interested group about GRN. Here are a few things to consider. 

BEFORE YOU START 

Pray for Guidance.  

Ask the Lord to help you find the right people to talk to. Some members who’ve never heard of GRN may wonder if it’s legitimate.

Find your church’s missions policy. 

Some churches have a thriving missions program that supports missionaries financially and prayerfully. Other churches work through their denominational headquarters.  

 

Get Approval. 

Make an appointment to speak to the missions pastor, committee, or senior pastor. Make sure they are aware of what you plan to do. You should make it clear that everything you offer is free.

1. Sharing the gospel with foreigners

Most people are intimidated by the thought of sharing the gospel message. However, using the 5fish app makes it easy to play a message to those who speak any of over 6,500 different languages.

Every pastor wants to see his congregation reaching out to others with the good news of the gospel. Before you meet, download 5fish onto your phone. Pick a couple of languages ahead of time so you can practice finding and playing them.  

 

5fish Cards. 

You can’t always play the message to a busy person, but you can give them a 5fish card that explains how they can download the app and find their language. Have a supply of 5fish cards you can give to the pastor.  

 

2. Help Missionaries find Gospel Resources

The GRN MapApp has links to gospel resources in over 7,000 language varieties, including Bible translations, Jesus Film, and GRN audio and visual presentations. You can share this link with missionaries from your church or denomination. 

 

3. An effortless way to pray for the mission of GRN

Many say, “I don’t know enough about missions to pray.” The GRN Prayer App gives you a short, concise prayer request each day, or however you schedule it. Many GRN field people work in dangerous or sensitive countries and count on our prayers.
