Where We Partner Together

Gogo Grandmothers, a branch of the Malawian NGO Sub-Saharan Africa Family Enrichment (SAFE), has partnered with Global Recordings Network since 2008. The Malawian staff minister to the gogos (Malawian word for “grandmothers”), orphans, vulnerable children and youth:

  • Spiritually, providing prayer and discipleship tools.
  • Physically, assisting with food security, seed, fertilizer, clothing, education, and necessities of life.
  • Emotionally, supporting community-based initiatives, so that the orphans and vulnerable children continue to develop within family and community environments which are culturally appropriate.

They also train village leadership and students in the schools.

Focus of Our Ministry Partnership

Our resources, particularly the Saber players and flip charts, are useful tools to use for evangelism and discipleship in the Chichewa language,  which is understood by most Malawian people. The materials are used by the grandmothers (to teach the children), youths (for discipleship), and chiefs.
