How Stephen Serves with Global Recordings Network

Stephen became our financial controller on Tuesday, August 5. He has over 20 years of leadership experience and five years of hands-on accounting oversight as a bookkeeper and treasurer for a Christian non-profit. He has a deep background in wealth management, including portfolio oversight, client advising, and compliance, with a proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership teams, stewarding resources with integrity and purpose.

On Faith & Family

Stephen is a strong believer with a solid history of serving in his church and communities. He has been married to Nicole for four years, volunteers with the Gideons in Tucson, and has been the main finance person for his church for 5 years.

Background & Qualifications

Stephen is a US Navy Veteran and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Capella University and a Masters of Business Management from the University of Arizona.  He has a background in financial planning and insurance, and serves as the Treasurer for his local Gideon Camp.

How Stephen came to GRN

Stephen has a very missional heart and has been praying for an opportunity to use his MBA in a ministry setting. He writes…… “I try my best to walk humbly, with confidence in the Lord to provide. My heart is for people and that is what GRN is all about — touching people’s lives. My marketable skills might be in finance, sales, and leadership, but being God’s hands and feet here on earth is what life is all about to me. Doing His work may mean washing feet or making financial reports, as needed. I’m not looking for a huge salary, prestige, or accolades. What matters to me are the people around me, and doing the best for them. My aspirations are family and service. From what I have seen in my short time here at GRN, those seem to be shared values.”

Global Recordings Network missionaries depend on the ongoing financial support and prayers of generous believers like you. Thank you for helping us tell the story of Jesus in every language.
