We’re currently gathering interest for the trips listed below, with more details to come as each team develops. GRN Nepal

Tentative for Summer 2027.

Meet God at the top of the world! Nepal is a primarily Hindu country, where the church of Jesus Christ has grown from less than 4,000 believers in 1980 to over 500,000 believers today. Global Recordings Network Nepal has been a part of that growth.  Our Nepali team aims to spread the Gospel to every village and speak to the people in their own language — 30 million+ people speaking over 160 language varieties.

GRN Pakistan

Tentative for Summer 2028

When Seeing is Hearing: God is using GRN Pakistan’s Deaf Ministry! When the daughter of Salas Rashid went deaf at the age of one, the only way he and his wife had to communicate with her was through made up signs. Then Salas heard about sign language Bible translation for deaf communities.  He began attending the same sign language school his daughter was attending. God opened his eyes and his heart to a whole new ministry to the many deaf in Pakistan and their needs as a community that is often neglected and misunderstood by those who hear.

GRN Philippines

Tentative for Fall 2028

Come see what God is doing in the Philippines! Known for more than delicious food like Adobo and Halo-Halo, the Philippines is a country of 7,641 islands, 184 languages and 117 million people! GRN is equipping Sunday school teachers to move beyond using the trade language in their Sunday School classes.  By training the teachers and providing audio Gospel materials, the teachers can more deeply reach the hearts of the next generation as they tell them the stories of Jesus in their own languages!

GRN Nepal

Tentative for Summer 2027

GRN Nepal focuses on distributing these audio materials so that people can hear the Gospel and Bible stories in a language they truly understand, and can share them easily with their friends, family, and neighbors.  The team will be trekking into remote villages, sharing the Gospel as we go with the cooperation of local believers and pastors. Besides doing distribution of GRN audio Gospel materials, we will also visit churches and other local Christian ministries. 
 
Exact dates TBD, Summer 2027 after we see the availability of those who would like to go. As a Short Term Missions Team we will have the capacity for up to 8 people and the trip will last 2-3 weeks.

GRN Pakistan

Tentative for Summer 2028

Salas has studied the intersection of emotion, sign language, and oral hermeneutics within the Pakistani Deaf community, highlighting the integral role of emotional expression in interpreting Scripture through Pakistan Sign Language (PSL). He sees sign language as an oral-visual language that is rich in emotional and theological meaning. Using a full range of communication methods in telling Bible stories to the Deaf results in a far more inclusive and effective ministry that honors the life experiences and linguistic realities of Deaf communities. What God is doing in this deaf ministry in Pakistan has implication for deaf ministries anywhere in the world. 
 
As a Specialized Short Term Missions Team we will have the capacity for up to 5 people and the trip will last up to 2 weeks. The trip will take place in the summer of 2027.  Let us know if God is putting this on your heart.

GRN Philippines

Tentative for Fall 2028

Come to Manila and see the work of the GRN team there as they conduct practical workshops for church staff on using audio recordings and visual aids in children’s ministry.  Witness the impact of children and adults hearing audio recordings of the Gospel in mother tongue languages. You will experience recordings in progress, the establishment of “listening groups” in the community, and the equipping of church workers with powerful tools to help in their own ministries.  
 
As a Short Term Missions Team we will have the capacity for up to 8 people and the trip will last approximately 2 weeks. This trip is being planned for Fall 2028.  Let us know if God is putting this on your heart.
